This is the fourth teaching in our Glad Heart series entitled — The Glad Heart is a Surrendered Heart.

In this teaching, we discuss one of the extraordinary stories in Jesus’ ministry, where Mary anoints Jesus with perfume. It is extraordinary because it was very unexpected and quite shocking to all who were present. In this expression of love from Mary, we are challenged as to how much we truly love Jesus. How much is He worth to us?

Mary modeled the fullness of surrender before the Lord, and, unless we have such a spirit, we will never have the glad heart that Jesus offers to us.

The next step in our journey to a glad heart is discovering what it means to have a Fruitful Heart. In this teaching, we’ll discover a great promise from Jesus that will lead to fullness of joy in us and a lasting impact in the world.

Do you want your life to make a difference? Do you want to impact others? Jesus tells us that the only way to true and lasting joy is to live a life that is bearing much fruit, a life that is having an impact for the Kingdom of God.

Find out what it means to abide in Jesus, to bear much Kingdom fruit, and to walk in the fullness of joy that Jesus offers all of us.

The Glad Heart (is a Believing Heart)

Sometimes in life, the simplest thing is the hardest thing. Christians are often called “Believers” because we are supposed to be the ones who believe in God. But so often, the most challenging thing for Christians to do is to believe and walk in faith. We are continuing with the Glad Heart series in this message entitled — The Glad Heart is a Believing Heart. We will learn how the enemy seeks to make us doubt God and be consumed by fear. And we’ll discuss principles that will help us have a believing heart, and ultimately, a glad heart.

The Glad Heart (is a Godward Heart)

There are many things we can pursue in life and to which we can devote our time and energy. These things may be good and important. But the only way to live with a glad heart is to ensure that we are devoting ourselves to the one thing that matters most.
